Fortalezas demoníacas del vecindario:

 Una mezquita es y siempre será un lugar demoníaco donde el diablo se encuentra con su gente, sin embargo, pasamos por allí todos los días y lo ignoramos como si no fuera nada en lugar de ponerle las manos encima, maldecirlo hasta la raíz y quitarlo como si fuera un demonio.  plagas que es  Estos templos demoníacos están justo en nuestro territorio donde viven nuestras familias y nuestros niños juegan.  Mucha gente piensa que el Islam es una religión inocente.  Bueno, déjame decirte la verdad que no lo es.  Nos engañan fácilmente porque vemos a los musulmanes viviendo su moral y siendo fieles al núcleo de su religión, pero lo que la mayoría de la gente no se da cuenta es que el "dios" del Islam es un demonio llamado Alá.  Estos individuos son como agentes durmientes hasta que son presionados al punto de defender su religión;  luego se manifiestan y se vuelven contra usted y la sociedad, eche un vistazo a Francia, el Reino Unido y muy pronto a los EE. UU. En el banco donde solía trabajar como gerente del banco, tenía una base de clientes de algunas empresas musulmanas y estas empresas, sus empleados  donde el 100 por ciento de los trabajadores son musulmanes.  Son muy amables y parecen ser muy genuinos, pero tan pronto como empiezo a hablar de Jesucristo como el Hijo de Dios, o sobre el Islam radical o las cosas en las noticias de hoy, o cómo si una persona deja el Islam, tiene una muerte.  sentencia sobre su vida y no debería ser así, debería ver su reacción.  Al actuar de manera amable y genuina, sus características cambian y su lenguaje corporal cambia y comienzan a manifestarse totalmente a otra persona.

 La botánica es otro lugar, otro baluarte donde la gente va para obtener lecturas de cartas del tarot y comprar velas para hacer brujería.  Mucha gente piensa que las botánicas son solo una parte de la cultura española: no hay daño, no hay falta.  No podrían estar más equivocados.  Estas tiendas venden ingredientes con el propósito de magia negra.  Y cuando las personas obtienen lecturas de cartas del tarot para ponerse en contacto con parientes muertos, de lo que no se dan cuenta es que el "pariente" que aparece es un espíritu familiar, un demonio que imita todo sobre la persona fallecida.  Como Gerente del Banco y seguidor de Cristo, siempre me ocupé de que nunca entrara en ellos.  Sin embargo, cada vez que me encontraba con una fortaleza demoníaca, me detenía y oraba  por el cese total de sus operaciones y libraba una guerra espiritual contra ellos.  Dios siempre ha sido tan fiel que después de librar la guerra espiritual, Dios sería tan fiel que estos llamados negocios lo harían después de unos meses de librar esa guerra espiritual, el lugar finalmente se cerraría y cuando lo hicieron pude sentir la liberación de ese mal  tensión en esa zona.

 Las licorerías en nuestros vecindarios están separando a las familias a través de un espíritu de alcoholismo.  Este espíritu está destruyendo familias, seres queridos, amigos y vecindarios enteros, y no hacemos nada al respecto.  ¿Cuándo fue la última vez que oramos e hicimos un inventario de nuestro propio vecindario y lo reclamamos para Jesucristo y creímos que Dios lo cambiaría?

 Ya sea que sean clubes nocturnos latinos que tocan música española, o R&B, o música rap, o clubes de rock, o clubes de techno, es todo el patio de recreo del diablo.  Los barrios en los que se encuentran están bajo el control de espíritus de lujuria, inmoralidad, adulterio, alcoholismo, drogas, asesinatos: la lista es muy larga.  Puede pensar que puede salir para una noche de baile y diversión inocente.  Piensa otra vez.  Cuando regresas a casa, esos demonios te siguen para infiltrarte en todo tu entorno.  Creo que la razón por la que estamos en nuestro vecindario es para destruir las obras del diablo.  Por esa razón y solo por esa razón, Dios te ha dado un lugar para residir en ese vecindario en particular.  Muchos barrios están bajo una maldición de control por parte de las fuerzas demoníacas, por espíritus de asesinato, suicidio, pobreza, inmoralidad, adulterio y homosexualidad, por espíritus de locura que saben cómo robar tu mente, espíritus asignados para separar familias, espíritus de violación.  , abuso sexual, y así sucesivamente.

 Esta advertencia se envía hoy a los cristianos.  Muchos de nosotros nos encargamos de movernos por nuestra propia comprensión, ya sea a otro estado, ciudad, región o distrito (esto puede ser como cometer suicidio espiritual).  Permitimos fácilmente que el enemigo nos reubique.  No importa si es un vecindario de alta gama o un vecindario de bajos ingresos;  los demonios están asignados en todas partes.  Caemos fácilmente en la trampa, la trampa de las manos del diablo, y nos convertimos en víctimas en lugar de ser victoriosos en Cristo.  No rezamos y buscamos el corazón de Dios.  Ya no ayunamos más.  Ni siquiera preguntamos si es la voluntad perfecta de Dios que nos movamos geográficamente, cuando el diablo puede estar preparándonos para caer en su pozo de destrucción.  Esto no solo le afecta a usted, también afecta a su familia, reduciendo su propósito y destino.  Debes venir a ver que tu propósito y destino también están alineados con la región y la temporada en la que te encuentras. El peligro número uno para un cristiano es salirse del tiempo de Dios.  Es como tratar de aplaudir con una mano.  Cuidado con el plan del enemigo para tu vida.  Dios tiene un plan y un propósito para tu vida, pero el enemigo también.  "Para que Satanás no se aproveche de nosotros, porque no ignoramos sus dispositivos" (2 Cor. 2:11).  Es muy importante para nosotros orar y escuchar a Dios antes de hacer cualquier movimiento, en cualquier lugar.

 El diablo está buscando una oportunidad para establecernos.  Él conoce los peligros de salir del tiempo de Dios.  Te seducirá con un mejor lugar, una mejor escuela y mejores oportunidades.  Pero recuerde: el hecho de que algo brille y se vea bien para nosotros no significa que Dios esté en eso.  Así que ten cuidado.  Debería saber que he sido víctima de los dispositivos y formas engañosas de los demonios.  Tenga la seguridad de lo que el diablo significaba para el mal Dios lo convirtió y lo restauró para su gloria.  Algún día te daré mi testimonio completo de cómo Dios me libró y me salvó del 11 de septiembre y de muchas otras situaciones en las que Satanás podría haber acabado con mi vida pero no pudo porque la mano de Dios sobre mi vida fue mayor.

 Por favor, ore siempre antes de dar el siguiente paso.  El diablo sabe cómo ubicarte en un vecindario para el que no estás preparado espiritualmente.  El plan que está tratando de lograr es desmantelarlo espiritualmente colocándolo en uno de sus lugares de fortaleza o en un vecindario que él controla.  Él hace esto para desmantelarte a ti y a tu familia, para destruir o retrasar el plan que Dios tiene para tu vida.  Esto no es ciencia ficción ni narración de la verdad real cuando estás en una verdadera vajilla espiritual contra Satanás.

 Esto sí sé el plan de Dios para mi vida y su reino se hará realidad, su palabra nunca vuelve vacía y sus promesas siempre se cumplen.

Demonic neighborhood strongholds: 

A Mosque is and always will be a demonic place where the devil meets with his people, yet we pass by it every day and brush it off like it’s nothing instead of laying hands on it, cursing it to the root, and removing it like the plaque that it is. These demonic temples are right in our territory where our families live and our children play. Many people think Islam is an innocent religion. Well let me tell you the truth it is not. We are easily fooled because we see Muslims living their morals and staying faithful to the core of their religion, but what most people don’t realize is that the “god” of Islam is a demon called Allah. These individuals are like sleeper agents until they are pressed to the point to defend their religion; then they manifest, and turn on you and on society, take a look at France, U.K and very soon the U.S.A. At the bank where I use to work as the Bank Manager I had a client base of some muslim businesses and these businesses their employees were 100 percent of the workers are Muslim. They are very kind and seem to be very genuine, but as soon as I start talking about Jesus Christ as the Son of God, or about radical Islam or the stuff on the news today, or how if a person leaves Islam they have a death sentence on their life and it shouldn’t be that way—you should see their reaction. From acting nice and genuine, their features change and their body language changes and they start to manifest to another person totally.

The botanica is another place, another stronghold where people go to get tarot card readings and buy candles to do witchcraft with. Many people think that botanicas are just a part of the Spanish culture—no harm, no foul. They couldn’t be more mistaken. These shops sell ingredients for the purposes of black magic. And when people get tarot card readings to make contact with dead relatives, what they don’t realize is that the “relative” who shows up is a familiar spirit, a demon that mimics everything about the deceased person. As a Bank Manager and being a follower of Christ I always made it my business never to enter them at all. However, whenever I encountered a demonic stronghold I would stop and pray for the total ceasing of its operations and would wage spiritual war against them. God has always been so faithful that after waging the spiritual warfare God would be so faithful that these so called business would after a few months of waging that spiritual warfare the place would eventually close down and when they did I could sense a release of that evil tension in that area.

Liquor stores in our neighborhoods are breaking families up through a spirit of alcoholism. This spirit is destroying families, loved ones, friends, and entire neighborhoods, and we do nothing about it. When was the last time we prayed and took inventory of our own neighborhood and claimed it for Jesus Christ and believed God to turn it around?

Whether they are Latin nightclubs playing Spanish music, or R&B, or rap music, or rock clubs, or techno clubs, it’s all the devil’s playground. The neighborhoods they are located in are under the control of spirits of lust, immorality, adultery, alcoholism, drugs, murder—the list is very long. You may think you can go out for a night of dancing and innocent fun. Think again. When you head back home, those demons follow you to infiltrate your whole environment. I believe the reason we are put in our neighborhood is to destroy the works of the devil. For that reason and that reason alone, God has given you a place to reside in that particular neighborhood. Many neighborhoods are under a curse of control by demonic forces, by spirits of murder, suicide, poverty, immorality, adultery, and homosexuality, by spirits of insanity that know how to steal your mind, spirits assigned to break up families, spirits of rape, molestation, and so on.

This warning goes out to Christians today. Many of us take it upon ourselves to move on our own understanding, either to another state, city, region, or borough (this can be like committing spiritual suicide). We so easily allow the enemy to relocate us. It doesn’t matter if it’s a high-end neighborhood or a low-income neighborhood; demons are assigned everywhere. We easily fall into the trap—the trap of the hands of the devil—and become victims instead of being victorious in Christ. We don’t pray and seek the heart of God. We don’t fast anymore. We don’t even inquire if it’s God’s perfect will for us to move geographically, when the devil may be setting us up to fall into his pit of destruction. This does not only affect you, it affects your family too, chipping away at their purpose and destiny. You need to come to see that your purpose and destiny are also lined up with the region and the season you are in. The number one danger for a Christian is to move out of God’s timing. It is like trying to clap with one hand. Beware of the enemy’s plan for your life. God has a plan and purpose for your life, but so does the enemy. “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices” (2 Cor. 2:11). It’s so important for us to pray and hear from God before we make any moves, anywhere.

The devil is looking for an opportunity to set us up. He knows the dangers of moving out of God’s timing. He will seduce you with a better place, better school, and better opportunities. But remember: Just because something shines and looks good to us doesn’t mean that God is in it. So be careful. I should know I to have fallen victim to the devils deceptive devices and ways.  It rest assured what the devil meant for evil God has turned it and restored it for His glory. One day I will give you my full testimony on how God has delivered me and saved me from 9/11 and many other situations under which satan could have ended my life but couldn’t because God’s hand over my life was greater.

Please always pray before you take your next step. The devil knows how to place you in a neighborhood that you’re not prepared for spiritually. The plan he is trying to accomplish is to dismantle you spiritually by placing you in one of his stronghold places, or a neighborhood that he controls. He does this to dismantle you and your family, to destroy or delay the plan that God has for your life. This not science fiction nor storytelling tu the actual truth when you are in a true spiritual ware against satan.

This I do know God’s plan for my life and His kingdom will come to fruition, His Word never returns void and His promises are always delivered.

God’s divine intervention at the close of this age is further spoken of in the book of Acts. Peter, preaching to the crowds after the healing of a lame man, declares: Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

Acts 3:19–21 In his sermon, Peter gives a revelation of four stages that will bring the present age to its close: First, God’s people repent and turn back to Him. Second, there are times of refreshing. Third, there are times of restoration. And, fourth, we have the return of Christ. The first stage Peter describes is repentance. Before God can send a major visitation of divine grace, one step is always required—and that is the repentance of God’s people. We see this principle in the slogan of Evan Roberts in the great revival that swept Wales and moved the world in 1904: “Bend the Church and bow the world.” The problem is not bowing the world; it is bending the Church.

If God can get His way with His people, He can get His way anywhere. This principle of repentance is illustrated by the first coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus had a divinely appointed forerunner, John the Baptist, who prepared the way for His coming. The message of John the Baptist could be summed up in one word: repent. Until the hearts of God’s people had been prepared by this message, the Messiah could not be revealed. Judgment must begin at the house of God, and this is the message of the end times. If God’s people will repent and turn back to Him, then will come the second stage: times of refreshing. In the New King James Version the word times in the Scripture quoted above means a specific season like spring or fall.

It is God’s intent to give His people beautiful spiritual spring seasons of renewing and refreshing. We all enjoy the spring season when everything begins to turn green, the flowers return and life comes back to creation. These seasons of refreshing have visited the Church throughout its history, but they have been restricted to local areas and for limited periods of time. In my understanding of God’s end-time purposes, the outpouring to come will be the last and greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Church of Jesus Christ. The purpose is to lead to the third stage: the times of restoration of all things. Here, the word times does not refer to a season but to a more extended or undefined period of time. Notice that Peter says “which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.”

This period of restoration will be the climax of the age, which has been prophesied by every prophet God has ever placed in the world. Restore, as I understand it, means “to put things back in their right place and their right condition.” This is the message of the hour. God is putting His people back in their right place and in their right condition.

The restoration of the Church is going to bring us to the final stage, the ultimate climax of the age—with God sending Jesus Christ, whom heaven must receive and, by implication, retain, until this period of restoration of all things. These four stages are God’s program for closing this age. We will not focus on each stage in detail because it is outside the scope of this post. We will, however, consider the third stage, the times of restoration, at some depth. Why? Because that restoration relates directly to the Church and her victory over Satan’s kingdom in the final conflict.

As we anticipate the conflict of overcoming evil in these end times, we need to understand how God intends to help us. Many passages of Scripture foretell that at the close of this present evil age, there will be a special intervention of God in sovereign grace on behalf of His people. This intervention will not be something that we have earned or that comes because we deserve it; it is simply a provision of God’s grace to fulfill this mission with which we have been charged as the new race.

On the Day of Pentecost, immediately after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the first public manifestation of the Church of Jesus Christ in its new power and authority, here is what occurred. The apostle Peter proclaimed God’s purpose for the close of the age. Quoting from the prophet Joel, he declared: But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

Acts 2:16–21 This passage is a proclamation by almighty God as to what He will do. Many of the promises of God’s Word are conditional; in other words, we must do something in order for God to fulfill His promise. Their fulfillment depends upon the believer meeting a certain condition. This promise, however, is an unconditional promise. There are no prior conditions attached.

God says, “In the last days I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh.” He does not say “if the churches unite” or “if the theologians concur.” If that were the case we would have to wait forever. God has declared that at a certain point, without our deserving it, meriting it or meeting prior conditions, He will intervene on behalf of His people by pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh. I believe we are living in precisely those days.

This final outpouring of the Holy Spirit is to lead right into the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and it will be a universal outpouring. There was a great and wonderful move of the Holy Spirit in the early Church, but it did not reach all flesh. We have seen God do many wonderful works, but I believe they are nothing more than a drop in the bucket in comparison with what God will do in fulfillment of what He has here declared. His Word never fails and His true nature never lies.

Pablo nos llama a ser sirvientes. Esto requiere más que elegir cuándo, dónde y a quién serviremos; Es un estilo de vida. Voluntariamente nos convertimos en sirvientes. The central theme of the Old Testament is redemption by grace. But incredibly, the Pharisees entirely missed it. In their rigid emphasis on religious works, they deemphasized the truth of God’s grace and forgiveness to sinners—a theme that runs through the Old Testament. They stressed obedience to law, not conversion to the Lord, as the way to gain eternal life.

 They were so determined to earn a righteousness of their own (Rom. 10:3) that they neglected the marvelous truth of Habakkuk 2:4: “The righteous will live by his faith.” They looked to Abraham as their father but overlooked the key lesson of his life: “He believed in the ; and [the ] reckoned it to him as righteousness” (Gen. 15:6). They scoured the psalms for laws they could add to their list, but they ignored the most sublime truth of all—that God forgives sins, covers transgressions, and refuses to impute iniquity to sinners who turn to Him (Ps. 32:1–2).

They anticipated the coming of their Messiah but closed their eyes to the fact that He would come to die as a sacrifice for sin (Isa. 53:4–9). They were confident that they were guides to the blind, lights to those in darkness, correctors of the foolish, and teachers of the immature (cf. Rom. 2:19–20), but they missed the most basic lesson of God’s law: that they themselves were sinners in need of redemption. People have always stumbled at the simplicity of salvation. That is why there are so many cults. Each one has a unique slant on the doctrine of salvation—and each one corrupts the simplicity of the gospel revealed in God’s Word (cf. 2 Cor. 11:3) by espousing salvation by human works.

 Each one of the major cults claims to have a key that unlocks the secret of salvation, yet they are all alike in propagating self-righteous achievement as the way to God. From start to finish, God’s Word disproves them all, and in a wonderfully consistent way. Its message, woven through sixty-six books, written over a span of fifteen hundred years by more than forty different authors, is marvelously unified and congruous. The message is simply that God graciously saves repentant sinners who come to Him in faith. There is no secret there, no mystery, no obscurity, and no complexity. If Nicodemus had truly understood God’s Word, he would have known that much.

Nicodemus was “a ruler of the Jews” (John 3:1), a member of the Sanhedrin, the highest ruling body of the Jewish nation. Perhaps he came by night because he didn’t want the whole world to see him and think he was representing all the Sanhedrin. Or maybe he was afraid of what the other Pharisees would think. They were known to put people out of the synagogue for believing in Jesus (John 9:22). Nevertheless, he came—unlike his colleagues—with a sincere desire to learn. The Pharisees were hyper-legalists who externalized religion. Although they were deeply religious, they were no nearer the kingdom of God than a prostitute.

Their credo included fastidious adherence to more than six hundred laws, many of which were simply their own inventions. They seemed to believe their severe, burdensome rules and rigorous codes of conduct made them holier than if they simply followed Scripture alone. Nicodemus may have expected Christ to commend him for his strict legalism. Instead, Jesus confronted him with the futility of his religion: “You must be born again” (John 3:7). Nicodemus’s reply has often been misunderstood: “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” (John 3:4). Nicodemus was not speaking in literal terms. We must give him credit for a little common sense.

A teacher himself, Nicodemus understood the rabbinical method of using figurative language to teach spiritual truth, and he was merely picking up Jesus’ symbolism. He was really saying, “I can’t start all over. It’s too late. I’ve gone too far in my religious system to start over. There’s no hope for me if I must begin from the beginning.” Jesus was demanding that Nicodemus forsake everything he stood for, and Nicodemus knew it. Christ was challenging him with the most difficult demand He could make. Nicodemus would gladly have given money, fasted, or performed any ritual Jesus could have prescribed. But to call him to a spiritual rebirth was asking him to acknowledge his own insufficiency and to turn away from everything he was committed to.

Nicodemus got the message, and it’s clear that he was staggered by it. He asked Jesus, “How can these things be?” (v. 9). “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things?’ ” (v. 10). That rebuke from the Lord completely silenced Nicodemus. If Nicodemus said any more, John does not record it. The silence is understandable. Jesus’ challenge of Nicodemus’s aptitude as a spiritual teacher was a devastating putdown. Jesus’ comeback also made an important doctrinal point. The clear implication is that the Old Testament plainly taught the way of salvation (cf. 2 Tim. 3:15). Jesus was not announcing a new or distinct means of redemption (cf. Matt. 5:17). Even in the Old Testament, eternal life was never a payoff for those who observed the law; it was a gift to those who humbly and by faith sought redemption from their sin. Yet it always meant a new start, a rebirth, a turning from sin to God. Nicodemus, as a teacher of the law, should have understood that. He should have been familiar with the words of the Lord recorded by Isaiah: “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good . . . . Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.” ISAIAH 1:16–18.

The consequences of Adam and Eve their sin were devastating. While they once experienced abundant life, they now faced a certain death. They had once experienced nothing but pleasure; now, heartache and pain. God’s abundant provision and enjoyable work were replaced by meager subsistence and labor.

Worst of all, intimacy with God and one another was replaced by alienation, conflict, and loneliness. This passage highlights several matters about spiritual warfare that are repeated throughout the Bible. First, Satan came disguised as a serpent. Paul warned the Corinthian church that Satan often comes in camouflage, even as an angel of light (2 Cor 11:14). Jesus compared false prophets to “ravaging wolves” in sheep’s clothing (Matt 7:15). Satan seldom appears “like a roaring lion” seeking someone to devour (1 Pet 5:8), or a thief, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10)—though these describe him.12 He is as cunning as a serpent. Second, although in the future the outcome of the conflict may seem at times to be in doubt, the certainty of God’s victory is established in the very beginning. God’s declaration of the serpent’s punishment reveals God’s sovereignty over the serpent. Commonly known as the protoevangelium, Gen 3:15 announces God’s ultimate victory at the fall.

Third, Adam and Eve’s sin demonstrates the absolute necessity of knowing God’s Word. A chief strategy of Satan’s will be to distort God’s Word. Heretical teachings and challenges to the truthfulness of God’s Word originate with the serpent. Fourth, just as the serpent convinced Adam and Eve that God could not be trusted, he will seek to convince humankind that they must look out for themselves because if God does exist, he certainly cannot be trusted. Finally, while Adam and Eve ate from a forbidden tree, Jesus would one day die on a forsaken tree (Deut 21:23). Adam and Eve received a curse for their sin, but Jesus became a curse for others’ sins (Gal 3:13). When Adam and Eve died, their bodies returned to the dust; when Jesus died, he was resurrected (Luke 24:6)—truly a paradoxical strategy to win a cosmic conflict!

Los dos primeros capítulos de la Biblia describen en el lenguaje más hermoso imaginable la creación de Dios del cielo y la tierra. De manera similar, la Biblia culmina con una magnífica descripción del cielo nuevo y la tierra nueva (Apocalipsis 21–22). The opening two chapters of the Bible describe in the most beautiful language imaginable God’s creation of heaven and earth. In a similar way, the Bible culminates with a magnificent description of the new heaven and new earth (Revelation 21–22). Between the Bible’s opening and closing chapters, it depicts a war being fought on a cosmic scale—a war fought between God and the devil.

This war is played out both in the spiritual realm and on the earth. It is not a fair fight, however, because the war is not between two equals—the outcome is never in doubt. From the very beginning, the doom of God’s archenemy, the devil, is certain (Gen 3:15). God’s wisdom is demonstrated in his inscrutable plan to redeem humanity from their sin and establish a new heaven and earth. Satan and demons are not mentioned many times in the Old Testament.

From a canonical perspective, however, their work is evident. Satan’s initial attack against humanity takes place in the most idyllic setting humankind has ever known—the garden of Eden—and his decisive defeat will take place on a hill called Golgotha. Like a wounded animal, he continues to attack humanity until hurled into the lake of fire to accuse us no more. The Bible is a book about God—not about the devil—and we do not intend for this book to be about the devil. We must discuss his strategies, but he is already a defeated foe. He continually seeks to convince us otherwise, but we believers are on the winning side. Indeed, the words in our feelings  express our conclusions about Satan better than we could: He should be taken seriously, for malice and cunning make him fearsome; yet not so seriously as to provoke abject terror of him, for he is a beaten enemy.

Satan is stronger than we are, but Christ has triumphed over Satan (Matt. 12:29), and Christians will triumph over him too if they resist him with the resources that Christ supplies (Eph. 6:10–13; James 4:7; 1 Pet. 5:9–10). “The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

Seguir a Cristo es un compromiso de conocer y creer la Palabra. Esa Palabra es poderosa, "viva, efectiva y más aguda que cualquier espada de doble filo, penetrando hasta la separación del alma y el espíritu, las articulaciones y la médula" (Heb 4:12). Mira dentro de nuestras almas, juzgando nuestros pensamientos e incluso las intenciones de nuestros corazones (v. 12). Guía nuestras vidas y gobierna nuestras elecciones; Según Dios, entonces el Padre ha señalado: “La Palabra fue escrita para instrucción y aliento (Rom 15: 4), para conducir a la fe salvadora (2 Tim 3:15), para guiar a las personas hacia la piedad (2 Tim 3: 16b) y equipar a los creyentes para buenas obras (2 Tim. 3:17) ".

Reconociendo que la iglesia está en la mira del enemigo y que esta batalla está en curso, definimos la guerra espiritual como "la batalla en curso entre la iglesia y el diablo y sus fuerzas, con la iglesia parada en la armadura de Dios, resistiendo defensivamente al diablo, y proclamando ofensivamente el evangelio en una batalla ya ganada ". Esta definición enfatiza tres cuestiones.

Following Christ is a commitment to knowing and believing the Word. That Word is powerful, “living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow” (Heb 4:12). It peers into our souls, judging our thoughts and even the intentions of our hearts (v. 12). It guides our lives and governs our choices; as Per God Then Father has pointed out, “The Word was written for instruction and encouragement (Rom 15:4), to lead to saving faith (2 Tim 3:15), to guide people toward godliness (2 Tim 3:16b), and to equip believers for good works (2 Tim 3:17).”

1- Thus, the Word must be the grid through which we evaluate all matters. At the same time, though, following Christ is not only knowing and believing the Word; it is also obeying the Word as we strive practically to live out the truths we find in the Scriptures. God has granted us his Word not simply to believe it, but also to follow it (Matt 28:19–20). Indeed, to disobey it is to deny believing it. Learning to obey the Word is not always easy, however. That is one reason God gives us pastors, church leaders, and other people of God who walk with us and help us make righteous choices. We simply need others who model faith for us, pray for us, and walk beside us. On our own, we often live in defeat; in the power of the Holy Spirit and with the help of other believers, we can live victoriously. Christian living is thus about practically living out the Word of God in the context of the local church, our standing arm in arm with other believers. These truths especially matter when we consider the reality of spiritual warfare—a concept that is variously defined and often debated.

2- Consider, for example, these definitions: “Spiritual warfare is a theological term used to describe the on going battle between the church and the Devil and his angels.”

3- “Spiritual warfare is a multilevel conflict between good and evil, initiated on the supernatural plane with the prehistoric rebellion of Lucifer, and transferred onto the natural plane with the fall of man. Satan, man’s adversary, continues to deceive and divert people from finding salvation in Jesus Christ, and to harass and hinder Christians through enticement to sin and exploitation of weaknesses. Because Satan is the author and initiator of original sin, and because he is the ‘god of this world,’ spiritual warfare involves a constant multidimensional battle against the world (a system of ungodly values), the flesh (sin inherent to our humanity), and the devil (supernatural personification of evil). Warfare implies the likelihood of losses: eternal separation from God for the nonbeliever, and diminished effectiveness and suffering for the believer.”

4- “Spiritual warfare is the ongoing resistance that Satan launches against God by exerting his arrogant desire to be God.”

5- “Spiritual warfare is a way of characterizing our common struggle as Christians.”

6- Recognizing that scholars and practitioners differ on these definitions of spiritual ware fare

Recognizing that the church is in the enemy’s sights and this battle is ongoing, we define spiritual warfare as “the ongoing battle between the church and the devil and his forces, with the church standing in the armor of God, defensively resisting the devil, and offensively proclaiming the gospel in a battle already won.” This definition emphasizes three issues.

First, the battle is primarily between the devil and the church. Since his appearance in the garden of Eden, Satan has sought to attack God’s people.

Second, the battle is ongoing though it has already been won. Jesus already disarmed the powers (Col 2:15), but the enemy continues to fight back. He will do so until he is cast into the lake of fire (Rev 20:10).

Third, daily victory comes not by some magical or mystical approach to warfare, but by daily
following Christ. In the armor of God, we do all that God has called us to do; obedience in the power of God is victory over the enemy.
