Tres son de verdad uno
La Biblia, la Palabra de nuestro verdadero Dios viviente, nos da mucha información sobre la Trinidad. En primer lugar, vemos la pluralidad de Dios en la creación. "En el principio creó Dios los cielos y la tierra" (Génesis 1: 1). La palabra hebrea para Dios aquí es Elohim, una palabra plural.
Él lo muestra en la creación del hombre, porque en Génesis 1:26, Dios dice: "Hagamos al hombre a nuestra imagen". Pero luego, el siguiente versículo dice: "Dios creó al hombre a su imagen". El texto se mueve libremente del plural al singular y de nuevo al plural. ¿Por qué? Porque nuestro único Dios se compone de tres Personas.
También podemos vislumbrar la Trinidad en Isaías 48:16, donde el Cristo preencarnado dice: "El Señor Dios me envió a mí y a su Espíritu", asociando a Dios Padre con el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo. Es por eso que puedes tener a Jesús en la cruz diciéndole al Padre: "¿Por qué me has desamparado?"
Son dos Personas diferentes. El Padre no es el Hijo; el Hijo no es el Espíritu. Pero el Padre es Dios, el Hijo es Dios y el Espíritu es Dios. Los tres son iguales en esencia como parte de la Divinidad singular mientras permanecen distintos entre sí en su personalidad.
La pluralidad de Dios también aparece en las descripciones de Dios. El Padre se llama Dios (Gálatas 1: 1, 3; Efesios 1: 2-3). El Hijo se llama Dios (Juan 20:28). El Espíritu Santo se llama Dios (Hechos 5: 3-4). De hecho, en Hebreos 1: 8, Dios Padre llama a Dios Hijo "Dios".
Así, los tres actúan en unidad, un Dios en tres Personas, iguales en esencia aunque distintas en función. Entonces, ¿cómo concluimos? Con 1 Timoteo 1:17, donde Pablo le escribe a este joven predicador: "Ahora al Rey eterno, inmortal, invisible, al único Dios, sea honor y gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén".
Esta es la verdadera majestad de nuestro verdadero Dios viviente. Él es y siempre será Dios porque en Él no hay fin y, por lo tanto, Él es el amor sin fin.

Three really equals one.
The Bible the Word of our true living God gives us a lot of information about the Trinity. First of all, we see the plurality of God in creation. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). The Hebrew word for God here is Elohim, a plural word.
He shows this in the creation of man, because in Genesis 1:26, God says, "Let Us make man in Our image" . But then the very next verse says, "God created man in His own image". The text moves freely from plural to singular and back to plural. Why? Because our one God is made up of three Persons.
We also get a glimpse of the Trinity in Isaiah 48:16, where the preincarnate Christ says, "The Lord God has sent Me, and His Spirit," associating God the Father with the Son and the Holy Spirit. That’s why you can have Jesus on the cross saying to the Father, "Why hast Thou forsaken Me?"
They are two different Persons. The Father is not the Son; the Son is not the Spirit. But the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Spirit is God. All three are equal in essence as part of the singular Godhead while remaining distinct from each other in their personhood.
The plurality of God also appears in the descriptions of God. The Father is called God (Galatians 1:1, 3; Ephesians 1:2-3). The Son is called God (John 20:28). The Holy Spirit is called God (Acts 5:3-4). In fact, in Hebrews 1:8, God the Father calls God the Son "God."
Thus all three act in unity, one God in three Persons, equal in essence though distinct in function. So how do we conclude? With 1 Timothy 1:17, where Paul writes to this young preacher: "Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."
This is the truely majesty of our true living God. He is and alway will be God for in Him there is no end and thus He is never ending love.
