Personal Relationship with Christ.

This is true that we must have spiritual mentors. But more importantly, we must also have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ—one that enables us to hear His voice, discern His guidance, and know what pleases and angers Him.

It's Only by Grace!

The Holy Spirit alone fills people with a longing for the truth. It is only by His grace that people turn from sin, humble themselves, seek God, and place their faith in Him. It's only by the the Holy Spirit that we get to know more about Jesus Christ.

Born of the Spirit

John 3-5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Remember it's not enough to be baptized in water but we must also be baptized by the Holy Spirit of the Lord in order for our salvation to be complete. Now we are living in the era and time of the Holy Spirit seek Him wholeheartedly and commune with Him and let Him fire you up from the inside out.

Above All Creation

Our God is slow to anger and merciful. He has chosen to make us as refined Gold which is done under fire. But to refine us as saints unto Him He has chosen the furnace of affliction to refine us. When in the sun praise God and when in the storm praise God, praise Him every moment of your time, for God Loves you above all His creation.

False Holy Spirit

The Bible reveals to us that we can know God more intimately and come closer to Jesus through the Holy Spirit than we could by Jesus’ mere physical presence on earth. That is why we must seek an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. We must ask our Father in Heaven to bless us with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Also don't be deceived by the false Holy Spirit. Learn more about this evil spirit hear :

Who is our advocate?

We require an advocate—someone who pleads our case before God. The Holy Spirit is the best advocate, and God sent Him to plead our case and to protect us against the devil’s snares which are everywhere. (Romans 8: 26–27.) The Holy Spirit has an exclusive role as God’s personal representative on earth. Amen.

What the Holy Spirit will never do?

The Holy Spirit will never, never, never glorify a human personality, a doctrine, a movement, a denomination… the list could go on and on but we should know better by now. Nothing and no one other than Jesus receives His glory and I mean absolutely NOBODY. If we desire the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our worship services, the best way to attract Him is by glorifying Jesus. When we lift up Jesus—praising Him, proclaiming His victory, declaring His righteousness—this aligns us with God’s will and attracts His favor and blessing.

Evil Division

Jesus told us that following him would not be easy. Brother will betray brother and turn against each other. Father and children will be torn apart. For Jesus' sake all men might hate us.
Matthew 10:21-22 (KJV)
And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
This is a shame because your enemy will rise against you right from your own home. This is something that no matter how close we are to God is inevitable that it will hurt. But for our salvation sake we must flee that division, leave it in God's hand , pray for it once. The most important one is we must continue to follow Jesus's plan for us and not depart from it. This for me has been very hard for me to see how my Father and Brother have turned against me but because the of ends of the times, I can now see why. I have done no wrong to them but God is my witness and I will continue to serve you my brethren in Christ and my Father in Heaven for they have chosen me and I will not abandon my God, despite what might come. If the Lord is separating me apart alone for service to Him all I say to my Heavenly Father is here I am.

We do so as orphans

If we try to attempt to live the Christian life without the Holy Spirit, we do so as orphans. Jesus provided the Holy Spirit to meet our needs, but we must welcome Him into our lives and acknowledge our dependency on Him. Jesus called the Holy Spirit a “Helper” in John 14: 25–26:

Inspired byThe Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ never penned a word; He left to His apostles the task of recording His life and conveying His teachings in the Epistles. We can rely on the accuracy of their writings, not because they were infallible authors, but because they were authors inspired by the Holy Spirit who brought to mind Jesus’ teachings. Amen!

Under our strength we fail

Always be aware that under our own strength and wisdom we will fail; neither education nor financial resources will suffice. Only by the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit can we live the type of life God expects of us. Amen!

Discernment

Discernment comes with practice, time and with prolonged studying of the Word of God.

Difference between the soul and the spirit

Let's understand the difference between the soul and the spirit. The soul is essentially the ego. Soulish people are egocentric, concerned exclusively with themselves. While the spiritual person asks, “How can I glorify God?” the soulish person asks, “What’s in it for me?” The contemporary church caters too often to this quest of personal gain instead of God’s glory. This is the real truth of the apostasy of the current church.
In 1 Corinthians 2: 14–15, Paul wrote, But the natural soulish man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. Did you know that we are composed by Body, Soul and spirit?

Having seen preacher's for many years, I have seen soulish appeals to emotion that move people to tears and make them excited—without changing them spiritually . One week later, they are usually the same person with the same problem, totally empty and still without the real Joy of Christ. It is lamentable how many churches, pastors, evangelist specialize in the realm of the soul rather than in the realm of the spirit. People in the soulish realm are carried away with little effort, setting themselves up for deception. I always remind you don't set your eyes on man because he will always fail you but set your sight on the Word of Christ.

Above all God is Holy!

Many people view God as a casual friend or a close buddy. He does invite our fellowship and communion with Him, but we must never lose the perspective and a sense of awe of God’s holiness.
www.avoiceinthedesert.net

Conviction of sin.

One ministry of the Holy Spirit is convicting us of sin. Where the conviction is lacking, the work of the Holy Spirit is most likely is lacking, as well. Be aware to not being sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit.

satan leads people astray

Remember Satan leads people astray, by encouraging them to love anything—money, pleasure, power, family, sons or daughters or themselves—more than they love God. As the perversion of something meant for good, misplaced love can make us candidates for Satan’s deception. Please don't let yourself be deceived. Love God first and above all and with all your heart. Show your love to God by being His hands and feet. Help someone in need without expecting any recognition from man but do it in secret so its written in the book of life. Go ahead help someone in need!
Read Isaiah 14: 12–15.)
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”

He Corrupts

Satan takes what is good, wholesome and pure, turning it into an instrument of our own deception and demise.
www.avoiceinthedesert.net

satan's tactics

Satan’s rules and tactics extends only to those that are disobedient to God, however; when men and women return to God with true repentance, faith, and submission, they sever Satan’s legal claim over them and their lives. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ and you will know what true freedom and peace is. God bless you all!

The Holy Trinity

The Holy Spirit is the restraining influence who, by working in the hearts of men and women to effect repentance and faith in Jesus Christ our only savior, prevents satan from taking complete control of humanity. The Holy Spirit is an awesome wonderful and powerful force of the Holy Trinity. Always remember satan can never defeat, the Holy Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.

Time is Short

Pontius Pilate’s presented the crowd with the choice of whom to release from prison: “Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?” (Matthew 27: 17). They instead chose Barabbas, the criminal, bringing about the first manifestation in human history of the spirit of antichrist. Falling into Satan’s plan, the people rejected the true Christ and chose an evil, violent man.
The end of this current age will look scarily familiar: men will choose between the true Christ and the false christ. First, the true Christ will be preached in all nations to the end of the world, accompanied by signs and demonstrations of the Holy Spirit. Next, Satan will follow, by peddling his cheapest imitation the false prophet and then the antichrist. The decision will be follow: Jesus Christ or Satan?
In the meantime, satan employs two strategies: supernatural intervention by satanic spirits and a progressive corruption of human morals, ethics and values . Which we see now commonly around the world. satan is setting up the stage for the biggest defeat of his life. Eternal defeat by the King of Kings, Our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen.
Remember! You cannot serve two masters for you will love one and hate the other. Today has been given to you, but you don't know about tomorrow. So, know this today is the greatest day of your life chose Christ as your only Savior. Hurry time is short don't wait any longer for those that are still in the sidelines. Tomorrow might be to late!

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ

In Genesis 7: 1, God gave Noah the rationale of His choice: “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.” Noah’s righteousness was sufficient for his family, too, a clear mention of what is declared in Acts 16: 31: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

You've died! Now What?

You’ve died! Now What?

Is there an after life?

What happens when I die?

What Does The Bible Say Happens after we die?

Does the Bible tell us what happens right after death?

At a Given Time

The Bible speaks a lot about life and death and God gives us two choices as it says, “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live” (Deut 30:19), so we must be “loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them” (Deut 30:20). We can either repent and trust in Christ or face God’s judgment after we die or at Christ’s return. Either way, those who reject Christ die with the wrath of God on them (John 3:36). The author of Hebrews wrote, “it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment” (Heb 9:27), so we know that a judgment comes after a person dies, but if we have trusted in Christ, our sins were judged at the cross and our sins have been taken away because it was “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2nd Cor 5:21). Everyone of us has an appointment with death and none of us know when that day will come, so today is the day of salvation if you have not yet placed your faith in Christ (2nd Cor 6:2) today is the perfect day to do so.

The False Holy Spirit

Hello folks at a voice in the desert. God bless you all and thank you for joining us today on another very important topic that we are to defend ourselves from the plans and tactics of the wicked one. There has been an infiltration in the Charismatic movement of a demon that tries to behave and act like the Holy Spirit but is only an abomination. I want to bring to memory to you this very important very “Title: The Holy Bible, King James Version

Matthew 24:23 (KJV)

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

Matthew 24:24 (KJV)

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
