Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,

¡Que la paz del Señor esté con cada uno de ustedes! Hoy, me dirijo a ustedes como ministro cristiano con un mensaje de esperanza y liberación. En un mundo lleno de confusión, inseguridades y cargas, hay una verdad poderosa que necesitamos recordar y abrazar: la libertad en Cristo.

A lo largo de nuestras vidas, nos encontramos con diversas cadenas que nos mantienen atados. Algunos de nosotros hemos luchado con adicciones debilitantes, ya sea al alcohol, las drogas, el juego o cualquier otra cosa que nos haya esclavizado. Otros han sido encadenados por el miedo, la ansiedad y las preocupaciones constantes. Incluso hay quienes han sido prisioneros de la amargura, el resentimiento y el dolor causado por heridas del pasado. Sin embargo, en el centro de todo esto yace una verdad fundamental: en Cristo, somos libres.

Pero, ¿qué significa esa libertad? ¿Es simplemente la ausencia de restricciones o limitaciones externas? No, hermanos y hermanas, la verdadera libertad en Cristo trasciende cualquier definición terrenal y se encuentra en el núcleo mismo de nuestra relación con Él. Es una libertad que abarca todos los aspectos de nuestra existencia: física, mental, emocional y espiritual.

En primer lugar, encontramos libertad física en Cristo. Muchos de nosotros hemos estado esclavizados por nuestros cuerpos y hábitos destructivos. Sin embargo, en Cristo, tenemos el poder de superar cualquier adicción y de cuidar nuestro templo físico. El apóstol Pablo nos recuerda en 1 Corintios 6:19-20: "¿Acaso no saben que su cuerpo es templo del Espíritu Santo, quien está en ustedes y al que han recibido de parte de Dios? Ustedes no son sus propios dueños; fueron comprados por un precio. Por tanto, honren con su cuerpo a Dios".

La libertad mental y emocional en Cristo también es crucial. La sociedad en la que vivimos nos bombardea constantemente con mensajes de perfección, éxito y autoestima basada en el desempeño. Nos dejamos llevar por la comparación constante y nos olvidamos de que somos amados y aceptados tal como somos. Sin embargo, en Cristo, encontramos la verdad que nos libera de la opresión de las expectativas mundanas. Romanos 12:2 nos insta a renovar nuestra mente y no conformarnos a los patrones de este mundo, sino ser transformados por la renovación de nuestra mente. En Él encontramos nuestra verdadera identidad y encontramos paz en medio del caos.

Por último, pero no menos importante, encontramos libertad espiritual en Cristo. A menudo, nos encontramos tratando de ganarnos la salvación y el favor de Dios a través de nuestras propias obras y esfuerzos. Sin embargo, la verdad es que la gracia de Dios es un regalo que no podemos ganar. Efesios 2:8-9 dice: "Porque por gracia ustedes han sido salvados mediante la fe; esto no procede de ustedes, sino que es el regalo de Dios, no por obras, para que nadie se jacte". En Cristo, somos liberados de la carga de la autojustificación y podemos descansar en la certeza de su perdón y amor incondicional.

Entonces, ¿cómo podemos experimentar esta libertad en Cristo de manera práctica en nuestras vidas diarias? Permítanme compartir con ustedes algunos pasos clave para abrazar y vivir en esta libertad:

1. Reconoce la esclavitud: Es importante que reconozcamos las áreas en las que nos hemos permitido ser esclavizados. Esto significa enfrentar nuestros miedos, adicciones y patrones destructivos y admitir que no podemos superarlos por nuestra cuenta.

2. Ríndete a Cristo: Una vez que hemos reconocido nuestra esclavitud, debemos rendirnos a la autoridad y poder de Cristo. Esto implica humillarnos delante de Él, confiar en Su gracia y entregarle nuestras cargas. Mateo 11:28-30 nos recuerda: "Vengan a mí todos ustedes que están cansados y agobiados, y yo les daré descanso".

3. Busca sanidad y libertad: Buscar ayuda y apoyo es crucial en nuestro proceso de liberación. Ya sea a través de la consejería, el apoyo de una comunidad de fe o grupos de apoyo específicos, es importante rodearnos de personas que nos ayuden a caminar hacia la libertad.

4. Abraza la verdad de la Palabra de Dios: La Biblia es una fuente inagotable de verdad y guía. Alimentarnos diariamente de la Palabra de Dios nos ayudará a mantenernos firmes en nuestra libertad y a contrarrestar las mentiras y engaños del mundo.

5. Vive en obediencia y amor: La verdadera libertad en Cristo no es una excusa para vivir una vida egoísta y sin restricciones. Al contrario, se nos llama a vivir en obediencia a los mandamientos de Dios y a amar a nuestros prójimos. Gálatas 5:13 nos insta a no usar nuestra libertad para satisfacer los deseos de la carne, sino a servirnos los unos a los otros mediante el amor.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas, la libertad en Cristo es un regalo que ha sido dado a cada uno de nosotros. No importa cuán profunda sea nuestra esclavitud o cuánto nos hayamos alejado de la verdad, siempre hay esperanza y reconciliación en Él. A través de su sacrificio en la cruz, Jesús nos ha liberado y nos invita a vivir en esta libertad cada día.

Encomiendo a cada uno de ustedes a la guía y el amor del Espíritu Santo mientras emprenden este viaje hacia la libertad en Cristo. Que cada día sea un recordatorio de la gracia y la misericordia de Dios, y que nuestro testimonio de libertad inspire a otros a buscar la verdadera libertad que solo se encuentra en Él.

1. The Immovable Fortress:

Hear me, brothers and sisters, and stand in awe of the invincible might of our God! Psalms 121:7 declares, "The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life." Oh, what an indomitable promise this is! Our God, the Almighty, stands as an impenetrable fortress against the onslaught of evil, shielding us and preserving our very being. He is the One who has conquered sin and death through the triumph of the cross, and now He watches over us with unwavering dedication (John 16:33). Rejoice, for in Him, we find invincibility!

2. The Unyielding Guardian:

Imagine, if you will, the resolute stance of our Heavenly Father as He watches over us day and night. Psalm 121:4 proclaims, "Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Our God is not a passive bystander, but a fierce and relentless Protector who never tires nor rests. He is continually vigilant, ensuring that no harm comes near us (Psalm 34:7). There is no moment when His watchful eye is not upon us, His beloved children, guarding our every step (Proverbs 3:5-6). Ponder this truth, and let it ignite a fire within you!

3. The Eternal Security:

Oh, rejoice, dear saints, for Psalms 121:8 resonates with the eternal security we find in our God. "The LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Do you grasp the magnitude of these words? Our God transcends time and space, guiding and protecting our every movement from the cradle to the grave and beyond (Isaiah 41:10). He is the Alpha and the Omega, the One who was, who is, and who is to come (Revelation 1:8). In Him, we find a security that stretches into eternity, a refuge that will never fade away (Hebrews 13:8).

Beloved congregation, let our hearts soar with jubilant praise for the unbreakable shield of God's mighty hand! In Psalms 121:7-8, we discover the depth of our God's love, His unwavering protection, and His eternal security. Throughout history, from the time of Adam, the devil has persistently attempted to lure mankind away from God, enticing them to serve, worship, and adore him. In order to accomplish this, he employs subtle tactics to sow doubt in the minds of leaders, urging them to question God's word and embrace his deceitful lies instead. When God created humanity, He granted them blessings and dominion over all creatures, only placing one commandment before them. The devil, however, cunningly accused God in the presence of Eve, engaging her in an unfruitful argument. This pointless debate eventually led to doubts about God's authority, as Eve and Adam succumbed to their greed and desire for the forbidden fruit, ultimately touching and consuming it.

The Gateway to Idolatry

When God created humanity, He granted them blessings and dominion over all creatures, only placing one commandment before them. The devil, however, cunningly accused God in the presence of Eve, engaging her in an unfruitful argument. This pointless debate eventually led to doubts about God's authority, as Eve and Adam succumbed to their greed and desire for the forbidden fruit, ultimately touching and consuming it.

The Lord God had instructed Adam saying, "You may freely eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die." The serpent, the most cunning creature God had formed, approached the woman and said, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" The woman replied, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'" The serpent then deceived the woman by declaring, "You will not certainly die."

Doubting God's word and engaging in disobedient actions against His teachings serve as open doors to idolatry, leading to animosity towards God and forming friendships with the devil. Unfortunately, the gravest self-deception is believing that one can befriend the devil. God has already established a permanent and everlasting enmity between humanity and the devil, which can never be reversed.

"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."

— Genesis 3:15

In essence, the gateway to idolatry begins with attentively listening to Satan's lies, contemplating and devising strategies against God's word, doubting His authority, desiring to engage in prohibited actions, and ultimately sinning against God. Cain not only fell prey to the aforementioned temptations but also went further by offering an unacceptable sacrifice. He disregarded God's commandments, committed fratricide, and lied. As a consequence, he was cursed, becoming a wanderer and a fugitive (Genesis 4:3-12).

There are individuals both within and outside of the church who find themselves wandering aimlessly, seeking prayers of deliverance without first conquering sin, which is the fundamental doorway to true deliverance.

"Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail. Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, follow other gods that you have not known, and then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my Name, and say, 'We are safe'—safe to do all these detestable things? Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the Lord."

— Jeremiah 7:8-11

When the people of Sodom and Gomorrah plunged into various forms of sin, such as homosexuality, lesbianism, wickedness, and violence, God abandoned them. Some among them became blinded and immersed in defilements, failing to seek repentance and continuing to worship the devil until God destroyed them with fire.

Dear Bretheren,

How marvelous it is to ponder upon the profound words of Apostle Paul in Romans 16:25–27. It is a potent reminder of the power of our Lord, who has the unmatched capacity to strengthen us, rooted deeply in the teachings and revelations of Jesus Christ.

For ages, God's mysteries remained veiled, elusive to humankind. Yet, in His divine timing, He chose to unveil these to us, not just as mere information, but as transformative truths aimed at our hearts. It's awe-inspiring to realize that through prophetic scriptures, this truth is no longer concealed but is now available to all nations. This is not a simple revelation; it’s a divine mandate, purposefully disclosed to lead us all towards a life of faith-driven obedience.

As we meditate upon these words, let us consistently acknowledge the wisdom of our sole and matchless God. The glory that emanates from Him, through the vessel of Jesus Christ, is eternal. It invites us into a relationship and life that sings praises to His name, not just in words but in the very actions and choices we make every day.

**Dios no llama a los cualificados, Él cualifica a los llamados.**

Amados en Cristo,

Me presento ante ustedes hoy con un mensaje de esperanza y afirmación, uno que destaca la belleza de los misteriosos caminos de Dios. Está basado en una verdad simple pero profunda: Dios no llama a los cualificados; Él cualifica a los llamados.

A lo largo de la Biblia, vemos numerosos ejemplos de individuos a quienes Dios eligió no porque fueran los más fuertes, inteligentes o justos, sino porque tenían un corazón que lo buscaba. Sus cualificaciones no se basaban en estándares mundanos, sino en un propósito divino conocido solo por Dios.

Consideren a Moisés, un hombre con tartamudez, elegido para liderar a los israelitas fuera de Egipto y hablar con el Faraón, el gobernante más poderoso de su tiempo. Moisés se sintió inadecuado e incluso preguntó: “¿Quién soy yo para ir a Faraón y sacar a los israelitas de Egipto?” (Éxodo 3:11) Pero Dios respondió: "Yo estaré contigo". (Éxodo 3:12) No fue la elocuencia o las habilidades de liderazgo de Moisés lo que lo cualificó, sino el llamado y la promesa de Dios.

En cambio, está determinado por Dios, quien ve el potencial dentro de cada uno de nosotros, un potencial que Él tiene la intención de moldear, refinar y perfeccionar para Su gloria.

En segundo lugar, si alguna vez sientes el llamado a hacer algo para el Reino de Dios y surge la duda, recuerda que la fuerza de Dios se perfecciona en nuestra debilidad. “Y me ha dicho: ‘Bástate mi gracia; porque mi poder se perfecciona en la debilidad’. Por tanto, de buena gana me gloriaré más bien en mis debilidades, para que repose sobre mí el poder de Cristo.” (2 Corintios 12:9)

Por último, estén abiertos al poder transformador de Dios. Si Él te llama, confía en que también te equipará. Cuando caminas en la fe, se abrirán puertas que nunca imaginaste, aparecerán recursos y se te concederá sabiduría. Así como Dios dotó a Moisés con señales y maravillas, a David con coraje y habilidad, y a Pablo con discernimiento y determinación, Él también te equipará para la tarea que ha puesto ante ti.

En conclusión, amados, no nos dejemos detener por nuestras percepciones de inadecuación. Dios no busca al más cualificado; busca al dispuesto. **God Doesn’t Call the Qualified, He Qualifies the Called**

Beloved in Christ,

I stand before you today with a message of hope and affirmation, one that highlights the beauty of God’s mysterious ways. It’s rooted in a simple but profound truth: God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. 

Throughout the Bible, we see numerous examples of individuals whom God chose not because they were the strongest, smartest, or most righteous, but because they had a heart that sought after Him. Their qualifications were not based on worldly standards, but on a divine purpose known only to God.

Consider Moses, a man with a stutter, chosen to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and speak to Pharaoh, the most powerful ruler of his time. Moses felt inadequate and even asked, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” (Exodus 3:11) But God responded, “I will be with you.” (Exodus 3:12) It was not Moses' eloquence or leadership skills that qualified him, but God’s calling and promise.

Similarly, think about young David. While his elder brothers looked kingly and had the stature of warriors, David was just a shepherd boy. Yet, when Samuel went to anoint the next king of Israel, it was David whom the Lord chose. The Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height… The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)

The Apostle Paul is another testament to this truth. Once a fierce persecutor of Christians, Paul was dramatically transformed on the road to Damascus. In his own words, he described himself as "the least of the apostles," yet God qualified him to be one of the most influential Christian missionaries and authors in history. “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect.” (1 Corinthians 15:10)

Secondly, if you ever feel called to do something for the Kingdom of God and doubt creeps in, remember that God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Lastly, be open to the transformative power of God. If He calls you, trust that He will also equip you. When you walk in faith, doors you never imagined will open, resources will appear, and wisdom will be granted. Just as God equipped Moses with signs and wonders, David with courage and skill, and Paul with insight and determination, He will also equip you for the task He has placed before you.

In conclusion, beloved, let’s not be held back by our perceived inadequacies. God isn't searching for the most qualified; He’s looking for the willing. He’s looking for those whose hearts are open to Him, ready to be molded and used for His glory. Somos Ovejas en Medio de Lobos

Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,

Hoy quiero dirigirme a ustedes como Cesar una voz en el desierto para recordarles la profunda verdad que compartimos como creyentes: somos ovejas en medio de lobos. Esta metáfora, trazada en la Palabra de Dios, nos revela una realidad que debemos entender y abrazar en nuestro caminar cristiano.

Jesús, en su ministerio terrenal, utilizó frecuentemente la imagen de las ovejas para ilustrar la relación entre el Buen Pastor y sus seguidores. En el Evangelio de Juan, capítulo 10, versículos 14 y 15, Jesús declara: "Yo soy el buen pastor; y conozco mis ovejas, y las mías me conocen, así como el Padre me conoce, y yo conozco al Padre; y pongo mi vida por las ovejas".
