The devil can only speculate

 Consider the following reflection on Christian viewpoints:

Contemplate this for a moment: How did the serpent know what God had told Adam and Eve? Being neither present during God's instructions nor possessing omniscience, the devil's awareness seems puzzling. In Christian belief, God doesn't consult the devil when planning our lives; rather, He designs our destinies, bestowing them upon us as we seek and commune with Him.

The devil can only speculate about God's intentions by lurking, observing, and listening. This was how he learned about Adam and Eve's encounter with the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Here lies a fundamental lesson: our adversaries perceive only what they learn from us. The devil's knowledge is limited, and so are his agents. They employ our behaviors, confessions, anxieties, fears, and worries to strategize their attacks.

In essence, we unwittingly supply the devil and his agents with the information they use against us. This realization urges us to be cautious of inadvertently aiding our adversaries.

Secondly, it's crucial to remember that the enemy cannot succeed in our lives without our cooperation. We possess the power to resist deception and not yield to overwhelming influences. Just as Adam and Eve invited the serpent's cunning by listening and entertaining his lies, we must be vigilant not to grant the devil attention or be swayed by his falsehoods.

Let us now turn our hearts to prayer:

1. Heavenly Father, I declare that I will not be a conduit through which Your enemies, and mine, learn about Your plans for my life.

2. May all agents of darkness with sinister intentions towards my life and family be perpetually confounded.

3. From this day forth, I vow not to collaborate with the enemies of my soul, life, health, business, family, and finances, whether knowingly or unknowingly.

4. I reject the voice of lies and deceit attempting to divert me from God's purpose for my life, and I pray for clarity and discernment.

May we be steadfast in our faith and unwavering in our commitment to God's guidance, seeking His protection and resisting the schemes of the enemy. Let us walk in the light of His truth, finding strength in His love and grace. Amen.
