Las advertencias de Dios solo tienen dos resultados potenciales. La primera es una profunda gratitud cuando se evita cierto desastre. El otro es el remordimiento desenfrenado por ignorar la advertencia. Hoy, las advertencias de Dios deben navegar en un campo minado de gracia barata, falsa esperanza y arrogancia.

Demasiados predicadores hoy suenan igual, muchos incluso tienen las mismas inflexiones en su voz. Bailan ante el Cuerpo de Cristo con falso consuelo tanto como los profetas seducidos bailaron ante Acab en 1 Reyes 22.

En medio de eso, el profeta Micaías, quien sufrió la mayor presión para conformarse y sonar como todos los demás, reaccionó con una de las frases más valientes de la historia. “Mientras el Señor viva, hablaré lo que el Señor me dice” (1 Reyes 22:14).

Nunca debemos mirar las circunstancias. Debemos ver a través de ellos. Una vez que veas a través de ellos, debes ver más allá de ellos. Solo puedes hacer esto con advertencias que vienen del Espíritu de Dios. ¡Amén!

Warnings from God carry only two potential outcomes. The first is a profound gratitude when certain disaster is averted. The other is unbridled remorse for ignoring the warning.  Today, warnings from God must navigate a minefield of cheap grace, false hope, and arrogance.

Too many preachers today sound the same — many even have the same inflections in their voice. They are dancing before the Body of Christ with false comfort every bit as much as the seduced prophets danced before Ahab in 1 Kings 22.

In the midst of that, Micaiah the prophet—who suffered the greatest pressure ever to conform and sound like everybody else—reacted with one of the most courageous phrases in history. “As the Lord lives, I will speak what the Lord says to me” (1 Kings 22:14).

We must never look at circumstances. We must see through them. Once you see through them you must see past them. You can only do this with warnings that come by God’s Spirit. Amen!

El enemigo abrirá portales, o puertas, para traer a alguien de vuelta a su pasado en su mente, antes de ser salvado, especialmente si la persona fue liberada de ciertas fortalezas como la bebida, la drogadicción o la fornicación, por ejemplo. 

Él usará esas antiguas fortalezas para tentar a esa persona y llevarla de regreso a ese lugar una y otra vez. De una manera sutil y convincente, el enemigo intentará convencerte de que la gracia de Dios te cubrirá y que está bien ceder ante esas tentaciones de las que te ha liberado. Esto se llama pecado premeditado. La gracia de Dios nunca debe darse por sentado. 

De manera similar, si hubo una temporada en nuestro pasado en la que luchamos con cosas como la incredulidad, la autocondena, la vergüenza, el abuso o el rechazo, los demonios encontrarán formas, a través de nuestra iglesia, a través de otros creyentes, o especialmente a través de miembros de la familia, para traernos de vuelta a las cenizas de estas circunstancias que el Señor nos ha librado o sanado.

 Otra arma que el enemigo sabe usar son las palabras negativas que salen de la boca de otras personas o, lo que es peor, de la nuestra, para establecer la trampa que nos arrastrará de vuelta al barro. Nuestra caminata cristiana no debería ser así. "La lengua tiene el poder de la vida y la muerte, y los que la aman comerán su fruto" (Prov. 18:21 NVI).

The enemy will open portals, or doorways, to bring someone back to their past in their mind, before they were saved, especially if the person was delivered from certain strongholds such as drinking, drug addiction, or fornication, for example.

He will use those old strongholds to tempt that person in order to bring them back to that place over and over. In a subtle, convincing way, the enemy will try to convince you that the grace of God will cover you and that it’s OK to give into those temptations He has delivered you from. This is called premeditated sin.

The grace of God should never be taken for granted. In a similar way, if there was a season in our past in which we struggled with things such as unbelief, self-condemnation, shamefulness, abuse, or rejection, the demons will find ways—through our church, through other believers, or especially through family members—to bring us back to the ashes of these circumstances that the Lord has delivered or healed us from.

Another weapon that the enemy knows how to use is the negative words that come out of other people’s mouths or—even worse—out of our own, to set up the trap that will drag us back into the mud. Our Christian walk shouldn’t be that way. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Prov. 18:21 NIV).

The tools that the devil uses most often are temptation and deception. Temptation is to make you want to quit and give up on God, and deception is to make you believe that you’re never going to come out of your circumstances.

Satan has been plaguing the Church of Jesus Christ with these two lies since the beginning of time. But I encourage you, believer, not to fall into these traps. Examine yourself when the enemy is trying to afflict you with these two lies. Know that God is faithful, and look behind your shoulder, whether you’ve been saved one year, ten years, or twenty years; look at the footprints of Jesus behind you that have brought you up to this point, and see that God has never failed you.

Hold on to that picture in your heart and mind through faith, and then you will not fall into the entrapments of this loser called the Adversary. One of the greatest things the enemy does is to cause a person to make a permanent decision based on a temporary situation. I believe we get stuck on the broken parts of our lives and sit in those areas far too long, even though we know that storms don’t last.

It’s time to get up from the ashes and dust ourselves off from the residue of life, look the enemy eye to eye, and take back our identity. In case you’ve lost it and can’t find it, your identity starts at the Cross. Get back to that place, where everything begins and ends in Jesus Christ.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV)

El mundo fue creado por las palabras. La herramienta que Dios empleó para crear el mundo entero fueron las palabras. Del mismo modo, nuestras bocas tienen poder creativo. La muerte y la vida están en el poder de nuestra lengua. Comemos los frutos de nuestros labios.

Las palabras que hablamos son semillas; Producirán cosechas en nuestras vidas. Es la razón por la que debemos tener cuidado con lo que decimos. Algunas personas usan palabras para insultar y maldecir. Usan palabras para llamarse perdedores. La acción de gracias al Todopoderoso nos hace ver el rostro de Dios. Damos gracias a Dios por lo que hace en nuestra vida y lo que hará en el futuro. El Día de Acción de Gracias abre las puertas, sin importar la condición en que estemos ante Dios, ya que nuestro corazón es sumiso y está dispuesto a dejar el pecado, Él aceptará nuestro día de acción de gracias.

Dios sabe que somos pecadores y nuestro corazón es desesperadamente malvado. Sin embargo, nos da la oportunidad de recurrir a él por perdón y acción de gracias. No es de extrañar que se diga, sus manos no son demasiado cortas para salvarlas, ni su oído sordo para escuchar. En tanto, si vienes a él con las manos limpias, él te escuchará. Thanksgiving to the Almighty makes us see the face of God. We give thanks to God for what he does in our life and what he will do in future. Thanksgiving is a door opener, no matter the condition we are before God, in as much our heart is submissive and willing to quit sin, He will accept our thanksgiving.

God knows we are sinners and our heart is desperately wicked. Yet, he gives us opportunity to turn to him for forgiveness and thanksgiving. No wonder it is said, his hands are not too short to save, neither his ear dull to hear. In as much, you come to him with clean hands, he will listen. At this point, you bring him food, which is praises and thanksgiving. You are therefore in order to give thanks to God without reservation.

He is waiting for you day and night to do this. He is always full of joy and ready to receive you. With thanksgiving, door of grace and favour shall open unto you. The burden you think is much, lightens. Evil load before you will suddenly disappear. Laughter and joy will take over your life, while doors of breakthrough shall open to you above human imagination. This is the dividend of thanksgiving. It is time you give thanks to God for everlasting joy.
