Conocimiento De Dios
Knowledge of God
Knowing God also means more than having a religious experience with God or saying that we feel Him. It is valid to have an emotional and religious experience with God, but to know Him involves more than that.
To know God is to have Him rub off on you, to enter into relationship with God so that who He is influences who you are. One of the great tragedies today is that you can go to church and be aware of God; you can go to church and have information about God; and if your church has a great choir, you can even go to church and "feel" God; but you can leave church with Him never having rubbed off on you and this is a shame because it means you missed the big picture which is Jesus Christ.
The study of God is the most meaningful pursuit in my life. Jeremiah 9:23-24 expresses the importance of knowing God better than I ever could: Thus says the Lord, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me." I will also boast of the love of my God for me.
It’s amazing how many things we brag about. Some of us can brag about our educational achievements. We’ve gone through school and we’ve done well.
We’ve got a bachelor’s degree. We’ve earned a master’s degree. Perhaps we even graduated magna cum laude. Perhaps you started on the bottom rung of the ladder at your company. You’ve grown up through the company and now you’ve become a supervisor; you’ve "graduated" to become a manager.
You own your own business, your own success. Now extra money is in the account. The home looks nice. The cars are modern. The suits are authentic. But God says, "If you are going to brag, if you really want something to shout about, can you brag that you know Me? Because if you can’t talk about that, you don’t have much to brag about.

(Lea Hechos 2: 14–41.)

No justice?
It is often easier, then, it seems to me, to forgive what is done to us personally than what is done to those we love. But it is still very hard to forgive those who have hurt us directly, especially when they do not feel the slightest twinge of conscience. If our offender would put on sackcloth and ashes as a show of repentance, it would be much easier to forgive them.
But remember, at the foot of Jesus’s cross no one seemed very sorry. There was no justice at His “trial”—if you could even call it that. A perverse glee filled the faces of the people who demanded His death: “‘Crucify him!’ they shouted” (Mark 15:13). Furthermore, “those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, ‘So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, come down from the cross and save yourself!’” (Mark 15:29–30). They shouted, “Let this Christ, this King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe” (Mark 15:32). What was Jesus’s response? “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34). This must be our response as well. Jesus could have said, “I forgive you.”
But such words might have been misinterpreted and wasted, like casting His pearls before swine. (See Matthew 7:6.) Instead Jesus asked the Father to forgive them, a far more grand gesture. Asking the Father to forgive them showed that not only had He forgiven them and released them from their guilt, but also that He had asked His Father not to punish or take revenge on them
. It was not a perfunctory prayer; Jesus meant it. And it was gloriously answered! These offenders were among the very ones Peter addressed on the Day of Pentecost and who were converted. (Read Acts 2:14–41.)

Pablo Advierte A Timoteo
Paul Warns Timothy
Paul warns Timothy of this bent in humanity toward a disregard for biblical truth. In 2 Timothy 4:3, he writes, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires.” Pastor, that time has come; that time is now.

People gravitate toward teaching that will scratch their itch rather than strengthen their souls. But when difficulties arise in life, an “itched ear” won’t provide any help at all. As a preacher, your role involves more than motivation and inspiration—though those are critical.
You have the opportunity and responsibility to teach your congregation how to study and glean wisdom from Scripture. You do this through expository preaching, which forces learners to the Scripture. It encouragers hearers to understand how you got to a certain conclusion, which then helps them to use their own Bible as a source for uncovering truths on their own.
Another important reason why biblical exposition is critical is that the Holy Spirit speaks through the Word. The Holy Spirit is called “the Spirit of truth” (John 16:13). In fact, if the Word is not strong and clear when you preach it, then it is because you have not given the Holy Spirit anything to use. Often, sermons fall on deaf ears simply because the Spirit of God was not part of the process in either preparation or proclamation.
You can preach words from the Bible without having spiritually empowered sermons. This is possible, unfortunately, when the Holy Spirit has not been made an integral part of the process (see 1 Cor. 2:4). Pastor’s, please remember to make the Holy Spirit your only true source to the messages given to God’s people. If the message does not come across you did not have a cross conversation with the Holy Spirit.
