En el libro de Proverbios 20:27 dice que "el espíritu del hombre es la lámpara del SEÑOR" y examina las partes internas. Lucas 11:35 nos advierte que tengamos cuidado de que la luz en nosotros no sea oscuridad. Durante un tiempo después de leer este versículo, cuestioné lo que Dios quería decir cuando dijo que la luz en nosotros podría ser oscuridad. A medida que crecía en el Señor, obtuve una mejor comprensión. La mayor oscuridad no es totalmente negra sino gris.
Son las áreas grises de la vida las que atrapan a muchos creyentes. Las siguientes escrituras nos dan una mayor comprensión de estas áreas grises.
• “El ojo es la lámpara de tu cuerpo. Cuando su ojo está claro [espiritualmente perceptivo, enfocado en Dios], todo su cuerpo también está lleno de luz [beneficiándose de los preceptos de Dios]. Pero cuando es malo [espiritualmente ciego], tu cuerpo también está lleno de oscuridad [sin la palabra de Dios] ”(Lucas 11:34). La palabra griega original para oscuridad utilizada en este pasaje es skoteinos, que significa opaco o no transparente, en otras palabras, lleno de oscuridad hasta el punto en que uno no puede ver la verdad, incluso si uno quiere.
• “Ten cuidado, por lo tanto, que la luz que hay en ti no es oscuridad” (Lucas 11:35). En este pasaje, la palabra griega traducida "oscuridad", skotos, significa sombra, como en alguien que es mentiroso o estafador.
• “La luz brilla en la oscuridad, y la oscuridad no la entendió ni la dominó ni se apropió de ella ni la absorbió [y no es receptiva a ella]” (Juan 1: 5). Juan está hablando de skotia: oscuridad oscura y oscura que es tibia, insípida, lo que hace que uno no pueda distinguir.

Cada esclavitud que se ha apoderado de mi alma hasta este punto de mi vida está en aviso: Jesús es ahora el Señor de mi vida. In the book of Proverbs 20:27 it says that “the spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD” and it searches the inward parts. Luke 11:35 warns us to be careful that the light in us is not darkness. For a while after I read this verse, I questioned what God meant when He said that light in us could be darkness. As I grew in the Lord, I got a better understanding. The greatest darkness is not pitch-black but gray.
It is the gray areas of life that entrap many believers. The following scriptures give us greater insight into these gray areas.
• “The eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is clear [spiritually perceptive, focused on God], your whole body also is full of light [benefiting from God’s precepts]. But when it is bad [spiritually blind], your body also is full of darkness [devoid of God’s word]” (Luke 11:34). The original Greek word for darkness used in this passage is skoteinos, which means opaque, or not transparent—in other words, full of darkness to the point where one can’t see the truth even if one wants to.
• “Be careful, therefore, that the light that is in you is not darkness” (Luke 11:35). In this passage the Greek word translated “darkness,” skotos, means shadiness, as in one who is a liar or swindler.
• “The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it]” (John 1:5). John is speaking about skotia—dim, obscure darkness that is lukewarm, insipid, making one unable to distinguish.
All three kinds of darkness derive power not from total pitch-black darkness but from obscurity. Skoteinos shows the obscurity of ignorance, skotos shows the obscurity of having a lack of integrity, and skotia shows the obscurity of not being sold out to God.
In the Book of Revelation, God says that He would prefer that we be hot or cold in our walk with Him (3:16). As hard as it may sound, God respects total darkness or total light, nothing in between. He has no respect for the gray areas of our excuses. Those who hang out on the fence between the narrow path and the wide path must know that the fence is grounded on the wide side and will burn up also. Thus far I have been speaking to believers.
If you are reading this message and have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, but you would like to now, let’s take a minute to talk to the Lord. Pray this prayer with me:
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I accept You into my heart. I believe that You died for my sins. I renounce every familiar spirit and idol that has taken up space in my life that You should occupy. I renounce my flesh, the devil, and the world. Satan, your wiles and devices shall no longer rule over my head. I confess my sins, Lord, and ask for Your forgiveness. Every bondage that has gripped my soul up to this point in my life is on notice—Jesus is now Lord of my life. I submit to be delivered and filled with the Holy Ghost and to learn the principles of God so that I can please Him. Amen.

Your body and soul will catch up because once you become joined to the Lord in your spirit, you become one with Him. My prayer is that this message will close your eyes to the natural and open them to the supernatural.
As we walk together, allow God to posture you to receive this message so that you will no longer walk by sight but instead will walk by faith (2 Cor. 5:7). The apostle Paul describes it best:
But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated.

2) witchcraft that works through divination. This spirit works through mediums and operates as a counterfeit holy spirit.
3) Simply put, I believe a familiar spirit is any demonic assignment that surveys and studies people, territories, and bloodlines of the genealogy of families. The goal of these spirits’ assignment is to gather spiritual intelligence that will open doors to instigate death and destruction upon you , your family or ministry.
They enter and gain power in people’s lives by disguising themselves as something common (familiar) while operating unawares through people, places, and things.
Familiar spirits operate in a twofold manner. They operate by the “extreme known” and the “extreme unknown.” By that I mean they attach themselves to you through something or someone you are extremely familiar or comfortable with, but all the while their agenda is unknown to you.
A person can willfully form a relationship with a familiar spirit oftentimes simply through ignorance (unawares). That’s because deception is always part of the equation. When someone with a familiar spirit doesn’t realize he has formed a relationship with a spiritual entity, he might assume his experiences are coming from his own imagination.
A Christian with a familiar spirit might think that he has connected with God in the spirit realm, but he is deceived—not because he is pursuing something demonic but because he is seeking something godly in the wrong way (through his mind or soul instead of his spirit).
This is why it’s critical to know what you and who are inviting into your home and heart. Leviticus 10:10–11 instructs the Levites to teach people the difference between what is holy and what is common. Putting it in simple terms, holiness is that which has been consecrated or separated unto God. In the society we live in today, holiness is unusual; it sticks out as different and rare. The New Testament puts it this way:
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction and eternal loss, and there are many who enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it. —MATTHEW 7:13–14

En el Libro de los Jueces, Sísara era el comandante del ejército cananeo que se había movilizado contra Israel, cuyo ejército estaba dirigido por Deborah la profetisa y Barak. Sísara trató de esconderse en la casa de Jael, pero no lo escondió, lo sacó. Jael tenía una clavija de carpa en una mano y un martillo en la otra, y cuando Sisera se fue a dormir, ella le puso el martillo en la cabeza. (Ver Jueces 4.)
Todos oran por la unción de Débora, pero yo digo que es hora de orar por la unción de Jael. Ella no era una jueza ni una líder nacional como Deborah. Jael era ama de casa. Muchas veces le pedimos a Dios que nos dé un ministerio mundial porque queremos llegar a las naciones, pero Dios quiere que matemos al enemigo que intenta esconderse en nuestros hogares. Cuando se trata del enemigo, es hora de dejar de esconderlo y comenzar a sacarlo.

Todos oran por la unción de Débora, pero yo digo que es hora de orar por la unción de Jael. Ella no era una jueza ni una líder nacional como Deborah. Jael era ama de casa. In the Book of Judges, Sisera was the commander of the Canaanite army that had mobilized against Israel, whose army was commanded by Deborah the prophetess and Barak. Sisera tried to hide in Jael’s house, but she didn’t hide him out—she took him out. Jael had a tent peg in one hand and a hammer in the other, and when Sisera went to sleep, she put that hammer to his head. (See Judges 4.)

Oftentimes we ask God to give us a worldwide ministry because we want to reach the nations, but God wants us to kill the enemy trying to hide in our homes. When it comes to the enemy, it’s time to stop hiding him out and start taking him out.
Jael put the hammer to the head of the enemy because the battle is in the mind. As you read this blog entry, you need to pray and ask God to protect your mind. Come against any mind-binding or mind-blinding spirits that would try to control your thinking. It is my prayer that you will be one who has ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying and through this blog entry you will discover the hidden ways the enemy has been allowed to take up residence in your home, causing hindrances and havoc in your life and the lives of your family members. La Biblia nunca nos miente al afirmar que la vida es fácil. El cristianismo no es un pase libre; No hay atajos para evitar la experiencia humana esencial. But somehow people get that mistaken idea, and when they eventually face trouble—as they always do—they come to the irrational conclusion that the presence of trouble implies the absence of God.
A greater mistake cannot be imagined. God’s Word reminds us that we are pilgrims and strangers in a foreign land whose roads are filled with hazards. The road is long, weary, and dangerous.
