I believe that much of what the Lord is doing today is completely counter to Christian pop culture and the flow that we are seeing in the mainstream and most highly visible Western Church. It is typical in such times that there will be a counterfeit that runs parallel to the real. There will be an echo that arises right alongside the authentic voice.

Some of these echoes are very deceptive and hidden from the casual hearer, while others are rather obvious and easy to discern. For instance, there's a false teaching out there, a part of the “hyper-grace” message that says the Christian doesn’t need to repent — that God has already forgiven all your past, present, and future sins.

Yet there’s never been a greater need for repentance in the church world than there is today. All this because so called pastors don’t preach the spirit but preach to the flesh, and you call yourself a pastor when you willingly let your sheep die because of the spirit of pride and mammon. You are looking out for your own agenda and not that of God’s agenda. Wooo to you on the day of judgement.

Siempre ha sido su golpe letal. "Si no puedes vencerlos, únete a ellos" es el modo de operación del diablo. A lo largo de la historia y cada vez más hoy en día, el cristianismo es una miríada de tradiciones, doctrinas de demonios, brujería y ahora el “gobbledygook” de la Nueva Era. Desafortunadamente, parte de esta mezcla también se ha infiltrado en el campamento pentecostal / carismático. Escuche atentamente a algunos de los maestros más populares de la actualidad. Son populares porque la mayoría de lo que enseñan es cosquilleo en los oídos, agradable, afirmativo y sin confrontación.

 En su mayor parte, es un evangelio de felicidad / prosperidad. Ciertamente no contiene ningún poder para golpearte y arrojarte a la cárcel. Todo el consejo de Dios falta en su presentación. En muchos casos, las opiniones y los sentimientos se enfatizan más que las Escrituras. Estos maestros y pastores son parte de lo que yo llamo iglesias “progresivas” y “amigables con los buscadores” que realmente son divagantes. En muchos de ellos, el pecado y la redención han sido intercambiados por justicia social y hacer el bien. Multitudes de personas se han escondido detrás de estas iglesias de hoja de parra.

Se contentan con ser religiosos. Las hojas de higuera son sus obras de justicia propia y la bondad natural de una persona, pero según Finney, son inútiles para el avivamiento. “Hay un cierto tipo de cristiano que, aunque está involucrado constructivamente en la iglesia y se hace pasar por muy buenos cristianos, es inútil en el avivamiento. No quiero decir que sean malvados, sino que tienen una forma de piedad que no tiene fuego ni eficiencia y que en realidad repele a los nuevos creyentes y aleja la verdad ”. La presión social y económica en nuestra cultura occidental es mayor que nunca.

La década de 2020 estará llena de situaciones cada vez más estresantes en nuestra nación, más desastres naturales, algunos que pueden alterar en gran medida la estructura socioeconómica de la nación, y el ritmo de vida no será más lento. Las semillas del socialismo marxista, el islam y el comunismo ateo se han sembrado en Estados Unidos, y el jurado aún no sabe qué tipo de cosecha producirán. El adoctrinamiento de una agenda anticristo ha cobrado impulso en la última generación. Pero DIOS! Esto es lo que creo y veo venir:

Todas estas características de una nueva era humanista resultarán en que más y más personas se conecten con el vacío de sus propios corazones. Esto dará como resultado que multitudes sientan su necesidad de la realidad del Dios viviente y la paz y la alegría que proviene de Jesús, incluso en medio del caos, el odio y los disturbios. Se acerca una gran cosecha de almas, y debemos estar preparados.

He has done this successfully throughout the ages.

It’s always been his lethal stroke. “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em” is the devil’s mode of operation. Throughout history and increasingly so today, Christianity is a myriad of traditions, doctrines of demons, witchcraft, and now New Age gobbledygook. Unfortunately, some of this mixture has also infiltrated into the Pentecostal/Charismatic camp.  Listen carefully to some of today’s most popular teachers. They are popular because most of what they teach is ear tickling, pleasant, affirming, and non-confrontational.

 For the most part, it’s a happiness/prosperity gospel. It certainly does not contain any power to get you beaten and thrown in jail. The whole counsel of God is missing from their presentation. In many cases, opinions and feelings are emphasized more than the Scriptures. These teachers and pastors are a part of what I call “progressive” and “seeker-friendly” churches that really are digressive. In many of them, sin and redemption have been exchanged for social justice and doing good.  Multitudes of people have hidden themselves behind these fig-leaf churches.

They are content in being religious. The fig leafs are their self-righteous works and the natural goodness of a person, but according to Finney, they are useless for revival.  “There is a certain type of Christian that although being constructively involved in the church and pass off as being very good Christians are useless in revival. I do not mean that they are wicked, but they have a form of piety which has no fire and efficiency and actually repels new believers, and wards off the truth.”  The social and economic pressure in our Western culture is greater than it’s ever been.

The decade of the 2020s will be filled with increasingly stressful situations in our nation, more natural disasters, some that may greatly alter the socio-economic structure of the nation, and the pace of life will not get any slower. The seeds of Marxist socialism, Islam, and atheistic communism have been sown in America, and the jury is still out as to what kind of harvest they will produce. The indoctrination of an anti-Christ agenda has gained momentum in the last generation. But GOD!  Here’s what I believe and see coming:

All of these characteristics of a humanistic new age will result in more and more people connecting with the emptiness of their own hearts. This will result in multitudes sensing their need for the reality of the living God and the peace and joy that comes from Jesus, even in the midst of chaos, hatred, and unrest. There is a great harvest of souls coming, and we must be ready.

Strong preaching and the demands of the gospel are like fingernails on a chalkboard to some. Has the Church adapted? Yes, but the problem has been that the adaptation that many preachers and churches have made has come with many unhealthy compromises.

So, to get converts and church members we’ve toned down on holiness, the requirements of discipleship, and sound doctrine, and offered people a cheap-grace-and-sloppy-love gospel while almost nullifying the necessity of the demonstration of the Spirit and power of God. Thus, the so-called “progressive” church has been birthed.

Its hybrid twin, the “seeker-friendly” church, was also birthed. This church model has done more damage and highjacked more truth in a shorter amount of time than in any other period in American history.
