Never under our own strength

Always be aware that under our own strength and wisdom we will fail; neither education nor financial resources will suffice. Only by the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit can we live the type of life God expects of us. Amen!

We depend on the Holy Spirit

We all depend completely upon the Holy Spirit for this new walk as Christians, just as Jesus depended completely upon the Holy Spirit for His resurrection.

You've died! Now What?

You’ve died! Now What?

Is there an after life?

What happens when I die?

What Does The Bible Say Happens after we die?

Does the Bible tell us what happens right after death?

At a Given Time

The Bible speaks a lot about life and death and God gives us two choices as it says, “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live” (Deut 30:19), so we must be “loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them” (Deut 30:20). We can either repent and trust in Christ or face God’s judgment after we die or at Christ’s return. Either way, those who reject Christ die with the wrath of God on them (John 3:36). The author of Hebrews wrote, “it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment” (Heb 9:27), so we know that a judgment comes after a person dies, but if we have trusted in Christ, our sins were judged at the cross and our sins have been taken away because it was “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2nd Cor 5:21). Everyone of us has an appointment with death and none of us know when that day will come, so today is the day of salvation if you have not yet placed your faith in Christ (2nd Cor 6:2) today is the perfect day to do so.

Division in the end of times

Jesus told us that following him would not be easy. Brother will betray brother and turn against each other. Father and children will be torn apart. For Jesus' sake all men might hate us.

Matthew 10:21-22 (KJV)
And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

This is a shame because your enemy will rise against you right from your own home. This is something that now matter how close we are to God is inevitable that it will hurt. But for our salvation  sake we must flee that division, leave it in God's hand , pray for it once. The most important one is we must continue to follow Jesus's plan for us and not depart from it. This for me has been very hard for me to see how my Father and Brother have turned against me but because the of ends of the times. I have done no wrong to them but but God is my witness and I will continue to serve you my brethren in Christ and my Father in Heaven for they have chosen me and I will not abandon my God, despite what might come. If the Lord is separating me apart alone for service to Him all I say to my Heavenly Father is here I am.

Our advocate

We require an advocate—someone who pleads our case before God. The Holy Spirit is the best advocate, and God sent Him to plead our case and to protect us against the devil’s snares which are everywhere. (Romans 8: 26–27.) The Holy Spirit has an exclusive role as God’s personal representative on earth. Amen.

The False Holy Spirit

Hello folks at a voice in the desert. God bless you all and thank you for joining us today on another very important topic that we are to defend ourselves from the plans and tactics of the wicked one. There has been an infiltration in the Charismatic movement of a demon that tries to behave and act like the Holy Spirit but is only an abomination. I want to bring to memory to you this very important very “Title: The Holy Bible, King James Version

Matthew 24:23 (KJV)

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

Matthew 24:24 (KJV)

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Always In My Heart

God has been more than graceful merciful towards me. Yes, as man that I am by nature I will be always imperfect as long as I'm in my human form. I have reached great pinnacles in my life and I have also reached lowest depths a man can reach. One of the greatest gift that God has given me has been to be a father. Though God has taught me how I ought to be as a father I too have made mistake, what father hasn't.

But one thing I will never forget is that God has taught me how to raise my daughters as humanly possible and give them the best of me but the best gift I have given them is my Love. Yes, at times I always didn't say yes to their every whim and did correction. But one thing I always did was love them with an eternal fatherly Love.

Sincerely,
Cesar "A Voice in The Desert"

Ungratefullness of a Nation

Ingratitude—Why is it so prevalent today? The gratitude and thankfulness Shown in previous generations is all but gone! Why? And what can you do to make sure you are grateful?

Ingratitude is an integral part of society. If you ask most people if they are ungrateful, they will most likely reply, “Of course not!” The say no because their ingratitude is a sin and they don’t want to admit it or just want to hide it. However, this attitude is so ingrained in today’s society, they cannot openly admit—or even realize—that they are very ungrateful.

How can you even tell if you are an ungrateful person? Are there characteristics that can help you identify ingratitude? If I have ingratitude in my heart how can I correct it?

God's Holy Unmerited Grace

God’s Holy Unmerited Grace

I Peter 5:10-11 10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen..”

Our God is the God of all grace because He is gracious and extends His grace, His unmerited favor toward us in so many different ways!

I think perhaps there are a great many people in our world who feel like they deserve every good thing they get in life. But in reality, every good gift comes from the grace of God, not because we deserve them or we authored them.

James 1:16-17 6Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

We are here taught that God is not the author of any man’s sin. Whoever they are who raise persecutions against men, and whatever injustice and sin they may be guilty of in proceeding against them, God is not to be charged with it. And, whatever sins good men may themselves be provoked to by their exercises and afflictions, God is not the cause of them.

____________________________________________________

We shouldn’t deceive ourselves of good gifts by saying we deserve them because I worked hard for them or my parents worked hard for it for us or much less by thinking we made them happen because we did not and that would be pride and we all know what happens when pride sets in. In truth we all deserve hell because we have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory but because God is full of grace He blesses us with all good things and offered to us eternal life through faith in His only begotten Son Jesus Christ!

The cost of Following Christ

Today, I want to reflect on a profound statement made by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 8:20, where He says, “Foxes have holes, and birds ...
